What I wanted

I wanted you to come and tell me; I don't have to do it anymore, that I can come home.

I wanted you to come and comfort me, tell me I don't need to go anymore.

I want to go back to that peaceful sunset, when I went back home, tired but fulfilled, from playing and laughing all day.

I want to sit in front of the TV, watching cartoons, feeling the warm peaceful feeling inside.

Tomorrow, I'll wake up and find myself, at last, home.
